SO i am building a mycroft VM with mic and speaker attached. mycroft will run on cpu only mode, but it is recommended that it has a gpu installed and a instance of tensorflow. Depending on the age of the server, You must have hardware that supports AVX (Advanced Vector Extensions) instruction set. To ensure your system supports AVX open a terminal and run:

Code:
grep avx /proc/cpuinfo
. AVX should be listed under the flags for each CPU core. If nothing is returned it is most likely that your system does not support AVX. If not, you can build older version of tensorflow.

I am just scratching the surface here , help if you can Smile
